Owner & Funeral Director
A 1990 graduate of Northampton Community College, Dino received his certificate in Mortuary Science in 1991. Today, he continues the tradition of Cantelmi Funeral Home and Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, in his father's footsteps. Besides being a licensed funeral director, Dino is a licensed pre-arrangement specialist in the state of Pennsylvania. He resides in Bethlehem along with his wife, Joanna (Villani) and their four children, Bianca, Ethan, Dino, Jr., Isabella and the family dogs, Nellie and Lily.
Funeral Director, Business Manager
Dale joined the Long Funeral Home in 2004 after a management career with AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and other major corporations. He graduated from Valparaiso University and DePaul University, as well as Northampton Community College, where he received the faculty's "Outstanding Funeral Student Award" in 2005. He became a licensed funeral director in 2006, and values the opportunity to serve our client families with unique, personalized services. He enjoys playing golf and working on home improvement projects. Dale is a member of the Erie Golf League and of the Goodfellows Club, and he and his family are members of the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem. They enjoy relaxing with their family and friends.
Born and raised in Bethlehem, Justin is a 2013 graduate of Liberty High School. Justin attended Northampton Community College where he earned his associates degree in Funeral Service. While enrolled in the Funeral Service program, he was the President of Sigma Phi Sigma the Funeral Service Education Club, a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society, a Louise Moore Pine scholarship recipient and a Wegmans Scholar. Justin received his Pennsylvania Funeral Director’s license as of October 2016. He is a board member of the local chapter of the American Heart Association, a member of the Lehigh Valley Young Republicans, the Goodfellows Club, Rotary Club of Saucon and a board member of the Fountain Hill Cemetery. He also served as a Real Man in the Real Men Wear Pink Campaign of 2018 for the American Cancer Society Lehigh Valley Chapter. Besides being a licensed funeral director, Justin is also a certified crematory operator. In his free time he works as a bartender for Artsquest at various events and festivals throughout the city. He currently resides in Bethlehem.
Brittany began her journey into the death care industry shortly after graduating from Emmaus High School in 2011. While pursuing her degree in mortuary science Brittany worked within a local funeral home as a field study student and also served as the treasurer for Sigma Pi Sigma the funeral service education club. Brittany attained her Pennsylvania state funeral directors license in 2016 and has since then studied at The Professional Embalmers Institute in Greenwood, South Carolina where she focused on Embalming techniques and best practices. Brittany is also a Certified Crematory Operator and member of the Lehigh Valley Young Republicans. When Brittany is not serving families she enjoys the great outdoors, watching sports; particularly the Philadelphia Eagles, reading books, and spending time with her loved ones especially those with four paws.
Ryan is a native of Treverton, PA. He grew up working for his father's funeral home in Treverton. He later graduated from Northampton Community College in 2011. Ryan did his internship and worked for Schantz Funeral Home, PC in Emmaus. He then worked for Bitner Family Funeral Homes in Harrisburg, and Thomas Bensing Funeral Home, Inc. in Stroudsburg. Ryan currently works for Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes in Bethlehem and Fountain Hill. He is also a certified cremation operator. He currently resides in Kunkletown, PA.
A graduate of Juniata College, Michael joined his father at the Long Funeral Home in 1983 after a sales career with NCR Corp. Michael has continued his father's commitment to excellent service and compassion for the families which we serve, and has expertise in arranging a wide variety of unique funeral experiences for families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Michael participates in a number of civic and church-related organizations in the community, including H. Stanley Goodwin Lodge #684 of Free and Accepted Masons, Morning Star Rotary, and the Moravian Archives. Michael greatly enjoys competitive cycling within the Lehigh Valley area. He has served as an elder and other leadership positions at Edgeboro Moravian Church in Bethlehem.
Funeral Director/Advanced Planning
Born and raised in Pottstown, PA; Aubrey is a 5th generation funeral director where she relocated to Bethlehem in 2012. She is a 2009 graduate from Northampton Community College with an Associate’s degree in Funeral Service Education and a Certified Crematory Operator. Aubrey was known for her talents in the family sport of Soap Box Derby during her younger years. She and her husband Robert, are active with Aardvark’s Sports Shop in Bethlehem, Team Vark program, is a member of Team RWB Lehigh Valley Chapter and is on the Food and Beverage Committee for the Celtic Classic. Aubrey and her husband reside in Bethlehem Twp with their dog, Maggie and two cats, Whitey and Blacky; She loves being outdoors, running long distance and being active in the community.
Michael is originally from Wilkes-Barre, PA. Michael always had an interest in Funeral Service. He was raised next door to his uncle Matt's funeral home (the former Matthew T. Jacobs Funeral Home at 47 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre.) Michael moved to Bethlehem and attended the funeral service program at Northampton Community College in the early 1990's. He spent most of his career with Dun & Bradstreet until 2018. Michael currently works as the Operations Manager for Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes in Bethlehem and Fountain Hill. He lives in Bethlehem with his husband Joe, and their two West Highland Terriers Violet and Ward.
Born and raised in Fountain Hill. Lori is a graduate from Liberty High School and Allentown Business School. Lori is Dino's sister, and has proudly been part of her family's business since the passing of her Father in 2015. She has the pleasure of assisting in the office with the everyday interaction and with families. Lori is married to Robert, they live in Allentown and have four daughters Nicole, Marisa, Madisan and Maya and have two grandchildren Jaelyn and Ronnie. Lori enjoys spending her free time with her family and her canine companions.
Memorialization and After Care Advisor
Amanda is a native of Whitehall, PA. She joined Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes in 2018. She currently serves as the Memorialization advisor offering different types of granite monuments and bronze markers. She also is the after care specialist for both funeral homes. She currently resided in Whitehall with her husband Greg and family.
Lorie is a native of Bethlehem, PA and graduated from Freedom High School. She also holds a Bachelor's degree from Penn State University and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Lehigh University. Lorie joined Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes in 2017. She currently serves as a Funeral Assistant at the Bethlehem and Fountain Hill locations. Lorie resides in Bethlehem with her husband and has three adult children.
Ben is a native to the Lehigh Valley. He started working for Cantelmi Funeral Home Fountain Hill as a young adult when studying Mortuary Science at Northampton Community College. Currently, he is a Certified Crematory Operator and Funeral Assistant for Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes in Bethlehem and Fountain Hill. Ben finds working in funeral services deeply gratifying and he is honored to serve families at their time of need. Ben is also a PA licensed Realtor and is currently employed by Howard Hanna and the Frederick Group. Ben enjoys spending time with his entire family. He is a proud father to his young son, and, a devoted husband and son. He also enjoys being outdoors and spoiling his rescue dogs.
John graduated from the College of New Jersey with a degree in physics. Later having received a Master of Science degree from Lehigh University and advanced degrees from Penn State University and Wilkes University, he worked as a Computer specialist and teacher for the Bethlehem Area School District from 1985 until his retirement in 2010. Upon retirement, he began assisting at the Long Funeral home. John is very active in Free Masonry, having served as Worshipful Master for H. Stanley Goodwin lodge #648 and served 2 terms as Eminent Commander of Allen-Beauceant Commandary #20 of the Knights Templar of Pennsylvania. He has 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. He currently lives in Bethlehem with his wife Diane.
Bruce was born and raised in Whitehall Township. He was employed by the Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority for 40 years. He retired in 2012. Bruce joined Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes as a Funeral Assistant in May of 2018. He resides in Whitehall with his wife Kelly Ann and daughter Kelcey.
Jack is a native of Mahanoy City PA. After graduating from Mahanoy Area High School, he enlisted in The United States Army making it his career, retiring in 2006 after thirty years of service. Jack joined Cantelmi Long Funeral Homes as a Funeral Assistant in January 2019. Jack resides in Allentown with his wife Donna and they have a son, Robert and daughter, Kimberly, and have three grandchildren Maxwell, Brynlee and Brianna.
Don is originally from Shamokin, Pa. and moved to Bethlehem in 1971. He taught at Liberty High School for 35 years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Bloomsburg State College and a Master’s Degree from Lehigh University. Don has also been an adjunct at Northampton Community College and Moravian College. He is also a member of The Lehigh Valley Woodworker’s Guild and had designed and made many pieces of furniture for people in the Lehigh Valley and elsewhere. He has two sons, Stephen and Patrick.
Ronald J. Koach, Jr, aka "Koach" has been at Cantelmi Funeral Home for over 25yrs and Resident Manager for the last 5 yrs.. Ron was former General Manager and Heir of the Former Madden Funeral Home the last of the original Southside funeral homes for over 30 yrs. Ron is the Assistant Director of Catholic Campus Ministry at Lehigh University working for the Diocese of Allentown and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Newman Foundation at Lehigh also Member of the Pastors Advisory Council, Lector, Eucharistic Minister & Cook at St. John Capistrano Church, South Beth. Ron is well known in Bethlehem and active other in various activities in the Community.
A native of Bethlehem, he recently completed his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from Arapahoe Community College in Colorado. A graduate of Villanova University, Tom divides his time between Bethlehem and New York City where he is a senior executive in a major insurance company. Tom is active in both communities and is a member of The Pennsylvania Society and Saucon Valley Country Club.
In Loving Memory May 27, 1936 - November 22, 2015
Dino, Sr. served in the U.S. Army stationed in Ft. Richardson, Alaska, during the Korean Conflict from 1954-1955. Through the Army, he was interested in the graves registration department that started his career in Funeral Service. He graduated from Lincoln Prep. in Philadelphia in 1956 and later attended Muhlenberg college. He then graduated from the former Eckel's College of Mortuary Science in 1959. He worked for Joseph Levine & Sons in Philadelphia and later did his internship with the former Steyer's Funeral Home in Bethlehem. Dino started his own Funeral Home in his parents home on Packer Avenue in Bethlehem in 1963, then moved the funeral home to 1311 Broadway in Fountain Hill. He lived in Fountain Hill above the Funeral Home with his wife, Karen. They have four children, Dino, Lori, Tara and Christopher. They also have 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Dino passed away on November 22, 2015.
(1930-2015) Founder of Long Funeral Home
Wally was a native of Hamburg, PA, and served as a mortician in the US Army during the Korean War. After the war, he became a Funeral Director in Berks and Schuylkill counties, initially establishing the Long Funeral Home in Oley, PA. In 1964, Wally purchased the Steyers Funeral Home at 500 Linden St. in Bethlehem, and moved his business there. Wally provided his clients with excellent service, compassion and attention to family details, and his business prospered. Prior to his retirement, Wally was involved in many community organizations and served on the Board of Directors for several local businesses and organizations. He greatly enjoyed driving the unique cars in his classic car collection. He was a member of Central Moravian Church in Bethlehem. Wally passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.
