Walter Wagner Obituary

Walter A. Wagner, 92, of Easton, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Country Meadows of Bethlehem. Born in Easton he was the son of the late Harvey and Anna (Wolfe) Wagner. Walter honorably served his country in the United States Army. Walter was a lifelong farmer. He lived and worked on the Wagner family farm in Bethlehem Township. Still known to many as “Wagnerville.” Walter was a member of Masonic Lodge #152 of Easton, Tall Cedars #35 of Easton, Lehigh Consistory Rajah Shrine, the past president of Forks of the Delaware Shrine Club and also served as Potentate of Rajah Shrine in 1993. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Nazareth.  


Survivors: Walter will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Guy W. Wagner and wife Linda and Mark P. Wagner and wife Jodi; 5 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Walter is preceded in death by his wives, Mary (Hersh) Wagner and Nancy (Higgins) Wagner and his brother, Henry Wagner. 


Services: A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 15 at 11 a.m. with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service in St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 S Broad St., Nazareth, PA 18064. Inurnment will take place at Farmersville Cemetery. Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem has been entrusted with arrangements.
