Stephen M. Bright

Stephen “Steve” Michael Bright, loving husband, and father, 57, of Upper Nazareth Twp., passed away suddenly at home on January 4, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Julie (Rice) Bright with whom he shared over 20 years of loving marriage. Born on August 10, 1964, in Bethlehem, he was the son of Robert Bright and the late Joanne (Smith) Bright.

Steve was in the Navy from 1983 until he was honorably discharged in 1989 as an electronics technician second class earning 4 sea service deployment ribbons, Navy expeditionary medal, letter of commendation, good conduct medal, Navy achievement medal and Navy unit commendation.

Steve worked for Coca-Cola as a service technician for over 31 years. He loved tinkering, building, and fixing things. He especially loved spending time with his family. He will truly be missed.

Survivors: Steve will be lovingly remembered by his wife Julie; children, Michael Rennard, Sara Bright and Jonathan Bright; daughter-in-law, Sarah; granddaughter, Aeris Rennard; father, Robert and stepmother, Jodiann; brother, Christopher; half-brother, Robert Bickert; stepsisters, Debbie, Pamela and Lisa.

Services: A celebration of life will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Advent Moravian Church, 3730 Jacksonville Rd, Bethlehem where the family will receive friends and relatives from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. The family kindly requests everyone in attendance to please wear a facial covering. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
