Silvia DeJesus, 63, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 21, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Naranjito, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo Quinones and Petronila Ortiz. Silvia was a Supervisor for Macintosh Linen and Uniform until retiring. She was a devoted and faithful member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Silvia’s ability to love stretched far beyond any boundary of family. She made friends in all contexts of life. Silvia was well loved and loved well.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Robert DeJesus and wife Elizabeth and Carlos Cintron and wife Iqra; daughters DaMarie DeJesus and Deanna Cintron and husband Danali; siblings Edelmira Quiñones, Carmen Quiñones, Victor Quiñones, Carmelo Quiñones, Gladys Serrano, Ada Quiñones, Hector Quinones, Edith Quiñones and Maria Quiñones; 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her siblings Angel Quiñones and Maria Quinones.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015. A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 and also on Monday Morning from 9 A.M. until time of the mass in the church.
