Sandra A. Quier

Sandra A. Quier, 73, of Bethlehem died peacefully in her home on Monday, March 20, 2023.  She was the beloved wife of David P. Quier with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage on June 27, 2022.  Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Cotugna) Selvaggio.  Sandra was a 1967 graduate of Liberty High School. She was employed at Macys, Whitehall for over thirty years before retiring as the office manager in the Human Resource Department.  Sandra was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem and a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Sandra was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority where she served in many positions and volunteered countless hours to various community charities. She enjoyed reading, cooking and baking old family recipes that had been passed down.  She enjoyed listening to music and singing along to the radio in the car. She was a devoted wife and mother and treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Survivors: Husband; children, David P. Quier, Jr. and his wife Deana of Walnutport, Stephanie A. Sawtell and her husband Keith of Roswell, GA, Daniel J. Quier of Breinigsville; brother, Frank Selvaggio and his wife Linda of Emmaus; grandchildren, Justin Quier and his wife Mary, Zachary Sawtell, Wyatt Sawtell, Jeremy Quier, Jacob Quier; great granddaughter, Acacia Quier. 

Service: Funeral Mass 11:00AM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Road, Bethlehem.  Family and friends may call from 10 to 11:00AM Saturday, March 25, 2023 in the church.  Arrangements by Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
