Ruth H. Sonnenberg

Ruth H. Sonnenberg, 98, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 in the care of ManorCare, Bethlehem. Born on August 22, 1922 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Ruth was the daughter of the late John F. and Helen (Bruska) Sonnenberg. Ruth was consecrated as Lay Assistant and served in this role at the Lititz Moravian Church, Lititz, PA before assuming the role of the Assistant Editor for the Moravian Magazine. She was a member of Central Moravian Church, Bethlehem. Ruth was very active with the Bethlehem Senior Center where she served on the advisory committee. She was also a member of Elderhostel for many years and enjoyed traveling.

Survivors: Ruth is survived by nieces and nephews, John Sonnenberg of Kuna, ID, Gary Sonnenberg of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Diane Reznichek of Reedsville, WI and Carol Sonnenberg of Appleton, WI. She was predeceased by her brother, Virgil Sonnenberg and her nieces, Kay Doll and Sue Zemke. 

Services: A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM in Nisky Hill cemetery, 254 Church St., Bethlehem. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
