Rosemarie H. (Kozo) Schadle

Rosemarie H. Schadle, 87, of Bethlehem PA peacefully passed away April 16, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Rosemarie was born in Bethlehem PA on April 20, 1936.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Hartman) Kozo.

Rosemarie attended St John Capistrano school and graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School. Rosemarie began her career as a legal secretary and worked for the late Senator Joseph Yasko and ended her career as a pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy.  

For 67 years she shared a happy full life with her loving husband Alfred “Al” Schadle. 

Rosemarie will be remembered by her loving family—her children Michael Schadle (children Serenity, William, and Sky Arcuri) of Chesterton IN, Kathleen Miller and  Barbara Talijan (husband Mark) both of Bethlehem, and Thomas Schadle (wife Jennifer) of Chandler AZ, - grandchildren Jessica Fink (husband Spencer) of Parrish FL and Stephanie Baker (husband Jason) of Bethlehem, - great-grandchildren Zoey and Luke Baker, Riley, Layla, and Bodhi Fink.  She is also survived by her brother Joseph Kozo (wife Maryann) of Andover MN. 

She was an active parishioner at Holy Ghost Church and a former officer and member of the Holy Ghost Seniors Group.  She was also a former member and officer of the St. Bernard's Beneficial Society Home of the Good Samaritans Auxiliary.

Rosemarie and her husband enjoyed traveling and included in their many travels was a cruise down the Danube and a trip to China.  She also enjoyed playing games, and spent many happy hours playing cards with her friends at Traditions of Hanover.

A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Holy Ghost Church, 417 Carlton Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18015. A viewing will be held that morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem PA 18018. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
