Robert Bickel

Robert J. Bickel, 72, of Macungie, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the St. Lukes VNA Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Francis and Verna (Hanssen) Bickel. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1958, and later worked for Kohas Vending, retiring in 2008. He loved going to flea markets, and attended Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Survivors: nephew Paul Pickett and his wife Jane; niece Susan Bickel; brother-in-law Frank Kalman. Robert was predeceased by his brothers William and Daniel Bickel, and his sister Nancy Kalman. Services: Funeral Service at 11 AM Friday in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call from 10 AM until time of services.
