Richard “Buzz” J. Kozo, 74, of Lower Nazareth Twp., passed away on August 8, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Zirko) Kozo with whom he shared over 52 years of loving marriage. Born on April 27, 1948 in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Francis G. and Anna (Sosnowsky) Kozo.
Buzz worked in the automotive paint industry for many years. Later he would work for St. Luke’s Community Health, as a mobile service coordinator for several years. He was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church, Bethlehem where he was a member of the Society of the Holy Name. Buzz also honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a talented artist and craftsman and enjoyed going to car shows where he would show his beloved hot rod Walter.
Survivors: Buzz will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol; son, Douglas Kozo and companion Jo Durfey; daughter, Kristin Westwood and husband Wil; grandsons, Mason Westwood and wife Shelly, and Jacob Westwood and companion Emma MacIsaac; brother, Robert Kozo; sisters, Barbara Medernach and Suzanne Evans.
Services: A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA where the family will receive friends and relatives from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
