Richard Joseph Wiczena, Sr.

Richard Joseph Wiczena, Sr., 81, of the Villages, FL and formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. He was the husband of the late Betty Joan (Beahm) Wiczena. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Irene (Ritoper) Wiczena. Richard was a graduate of Fountain Hill High School. He worked as a machinist for most of his life until retiring. Richard enjoyed fishing and had a love of his dogs, cats and rabbits.

Survivors:  He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Richard J. Wiczena, Jr. of Danielsville, Jeffrey Wiczena of Belleview, FL; daughters, Kimberly A. Childress of Hopkinsville, KY., Holly Sumner of Clarksville, TN., Heidi Sullivan of Seneca, SC; sister Nancy Byler of Fountain Hill; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. 

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
