Richard R. Nagy, 79, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2021 while in the care of Manor Care, Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of Susanne T. (Vassa) Nagy with whom he shared over 49 years of loving marriage. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Peter and Rose (Barth) Nagy. Richard was a graduate of Liberty High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Richard worked for B Braun as a Mold Injection Operator for 35 years until taking an early retirement to care for his grandson, Seth. He was an avid Vietnam Memorabilia collector and Philadelphia Eagles Fan. Richard also enjoyed going to car shows.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Susanne, he will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Lisa Chase of Allentown; brother Peter Nagy of Bethlehem; grandson Seth Chase and his beloved therapy dog Milo.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
