Richard Abrams Obituary

Richard Abrams, 74, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Wallack) Abrams. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in March.  Richard was born on March 14, 1945 in Newark, NJ to the late I. David and Dora (Gold) Abrams. 

Richard owned and operated Abrams Associates. He was a man of many talents and had several jobs through out his career being a car salesman, Hebrew School Teacher and mostly enjoying his passion photography. He was a member of Congregation Brith Sholom. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. 

SURVIVORS: In addition to his wife Susan, he is lovingly missed by his children, Karen Yerkes and husband Stephen, Jill Kristie and husband Kevin and Andrew Abrams and wife Abbe; grandchildren, Rylee Yerkes and Kamryn Yerkes.  

SERVICES: A funeral service will take place at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Congregation Brith Sholom,1190 Maccada Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18017.  Burial will follow in Brith Sholom Cemetery, Fountain Hill. A memorial tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.

CONTRIBUTIONS: In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Richard’s memory to Congregation Brith Sholom,1190 Maccada Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18017 or to Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley, 2132 S. 12th Street, Suite 401, Allentown PA 18103.
