Regina "Gigi” Gestl, 57, of Bethlehem, passed away on August 2, 2022, after weeks of support and love from her family and friends. Born in Allentown on April 5, 1965, she was the daughter of Russell Gestl and the late Frances M. (Ender) Gestl. Gigi was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem, PA. She was a graduate of Salisbury High School, class of 1983, and went on to graduate from The Pennsylvania State University, where she enjoyed many PSU football games and tailgating prior to the games. Upon graduation, she worked for KidsPeace, as a mental health worker for children, until her early thirties when Multiple Sclerosis prevented her from working any longer. Despite her battle with MS, Gigi was courageous as she helped care for her nieces, nephews, and aging parents. She was able to continue her social life and enjoyed family gatherings, concerts, traveling, and Birthday Weekends. She was an avid reader and lover of animals. She absolutely adored koala bears!
