Pauline Petho Obituary
Pauline F. Petho, 94 of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at Holy Family Manor. She was the loving wife of Frank Petho for 72 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Pauline (Scanzello) Fresoli. Pauline worked as an executive secretary for the Bethlehem Steel for 28 years, until retiring. Pauline was a member of Bethlehem UNICO, a former secretary for P.T.A. Miller Heights, the Bethlehem Township Planning Commission and the Bethlehem Township Community League. Pauline was the first president and organizer of Freemansburg/Bethlehem Township Little League Auxiliary and a volunteer for the Bethlehem Township Fire Co. Auxiliary. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her husband Frank; son CAPT Frank C. Petho USN, RET and his wife Jean of Alameda, CA; daughter Julianne P. Wadsworth and her husband William of Arlington, VA; grandchildren Julia Petho and her husband Rohan Thompson, Emma DeStefano and her husband Anthony and Drew Wadsworth and his fiance Molly; great-grandchildren, Clyde Petho Thompson and Bryce DeStefano; sisters, Lucy Mulzet and Juliette Guidan. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Michael, Rose, Beatrice, Jennie, Angeline, Antoinette, Roccina, Neva, Marianne and Vincent.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday August 22, 2017 at Cantelmi Funeral Home, PC 1311 Broadway Fountain Hill, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of service. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
