Paul R. Wolfe

Paul R Wolfe, 97, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2023. He was the husband of the late Hilda (Kopfer) Wolfe, who passed away on March 10, 2020. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Olga (Sussmilch) Wolfe. Paul enlisted in the Marine Corp at age 17 (1944) and proudly served in the South Pacific as a Corporal. He was honorably discharged (1946). He received his honorary degree from Liberty High School in 2004. He worked at the Bethlehem Steel for 40 years as a supervisor of the BOF, retiring in 1986. He was a life member of St John's Windish Lutheran Church, where he served as council President.

Survivors: Daughter Jacqueline Wolfe, granddaughter Megan, great grandchildren Wyatt & Nadia. Siblings Carter Wolfe, Olga Oberly, Noreen Millward. He was preceded in death by brothers Arthur and Joseph; and first wife Margaret Kelleman (1975).

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service. Burial with Military honors will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
