Olga (Morra) Hegedus, 97, of Allentown, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Rittenhouse Village. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Angelina (Diabiase) Morra. Olga was the beloved wife of the late John Hegedus with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. Over the years, Olga worked at Permacel Tape in New Brunswick, NJ; worked as a teacher’s aide at Lafayette School in Highland Park, NJ and with the Girl Scouts of America in North Brunswick, NJ. Olga was a wonderful and loving wife and mother, a very caring friend and had a great sense of humor. She was also an avid bowler.
Survivors: Olga will be lovingly remembered by her son, Jeffrey Hegedus, his wife Sheryl and her grandchildren Kevin and Andrea; daughter, Debra Caroselli, her husband Albert and her grandchildren Kimberly, Christine and John and her great grandchildren Vincent and Samuel. Also, lovingly remembered by her brother Francis Morra, wife Dorothy. Olga was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Morra.
Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem has been entrusted with arrangements.
