Nancy Jean (Zeleski) Frantz, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at her residence. She was the widow of Robert David Frantz. Born on January 27, 1934 in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Zeleski. She was a graduate of Liberty High School and attended Moravian College and remained very active in attending alumni events. She particularly supported the Music and Arts Departments by her attendance and frequent gifts.
Nancy worked at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis as a floor manager and later as a Teacher’s Assistant in Clayton MO. After husband Bob’s retirement from the St. Louis Sales Office of Bethlehem Steel, they moved to Florida and she worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Hollywood, FL. She was an active member of Central Moravian Church, Bethlehem and in her Women’s Circle there.
Survivors: Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Stanley Frantz and David Michael Frantz and wife Maria; grandchildren, Michael, Emily and Lillian Frantz. She was predeceased by siblings, Michael Zeleski Jr. and Bessie O’Brian.
Services: A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden St., Bethlehem. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at cantelmifuneralhome.com.
