Nancy C. (Barnett) Berger

Nancy C. (Barnett) Berger, 88, of Freemansburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Edward L. Berger with whom she shared over 66 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late James and Agnes (Park) Barnett and sister of the late John Barnett. Nancy was a graduate of Bethlehem High School. She worked for the Bethlehem Area School District in the Cafeteria at many schools for over 23 years until retiring. She was a lifetime member of the former Trinity UCC, Freemansburg and a current member of St. Thomas UCC, Bethlehem. Nancy enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and she was an avid New York Yankees fan. 

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband Edward of Freemansburg, she will be remembered by her daughters Cynthia Jenkins and her husband David, Phyllis Santo and her husband Robert, and Jill O’Connor and her husband Chuck; son Edward James Berger and his wife Carrie; grandchildren Elizabeth (Jenkins) Dodge and her husband Emerson, Jonathan and Matthew Jenkins, Angela Santo and her husband Craig McCann, Kelly (Santo) Ibach and her husband Donald, Christopher Santo, Rachel and Brian O’Connor, Jack and Nicholas Berger, and great-grandson Zachary McCann. 

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service. Burial will follow at Freemansburg Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
