Obituary
Mildred “Millie” D. (Adams) Ritter Mathews, 97, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. She was the widow of Bayard B. Ritter and Edward G. Mathews. Born on March 18, 1926 in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late William G. and Myra (Smith) Adams.
Millie was a loving and caring homemaker always putting her family first. She was an avid jewelry maker, creating pieces for everyone. Mille loved traveling to the beach, playing Bingo and listening to Polka music.
Survivors: Millie will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Richard “Rick” Ritter and his wife Carol, Rob Ritter and his wife Angela, and Ronald Ritter and his wife Sandi; stepson, Clayton Mathews; grandchildren, Michelle, Chad, Tyler, Matthew, Chris, Ronnie, and Jodi; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by stepson, Dennis Mathew, and siblings, Arthur, William, John, Evelyn and Grace.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 AM to the time of service.
