Miguel A. Rodriguez

Miguel Angel Rodriguez, 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Margarita (Vassallo) Rodriguez. Born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Juan and Fausta (Diaz) Rodriguez.

Miguel worked as a receptionist for Bethlehem Steel for many years until he retired. He was a very active and faithful member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Miguel had a love for baseball, coaching for many years with the South Side Little League, Bethlehem A’s, and the Bethlehem Senior League. He enjoyed classic cars and above all he cherished his time spent with his family.

Miguel, will be remembered by his sons Miguel Rodriguez, Jr. of Bethlehem, William Rodriguez of Cape Cod, MA and Xavier Rodriguez and his wife Rosa of Bethlehem; brother, Expedito Rodriguez Diaz, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Juan Rodriguez Diaz, Angel Rodriguez Diaz, Marcelino Rodriguez Diaz, Antoliano Rodriguez Diaz, Clotilde Rodriguez Diaz, Francisco Rodriguez Diaz, Felix Rodriguez Diaz, and Nicholas Rodriguez Diaz.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, March 22, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holy Infancy Church, 312 E 4th St, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
