Michael Stanton Obituary
Michael James Stanton, 59, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Earline Stanton. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late William J. Walker and Rosa Mae Stanton. Michael was a member of St. Paul's Baptist Church, Bethlehem. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Earline, he will be lovingly remembered by his children Kevin Bonser of Bethlehem; Chimere K. Lee-Kendall of Lancaster, Makeda Flowers of Lancaster, Michael Smith of Lancaster and Itiya Stanton of Lancaster, Latoya Lee of Lancaster and Terrell Stanton of Lancaster; sisters Willena Walker of Pittsburgh, Willet Walker of Bethlehem, Rosie Stanton of Bethlehem, Molly Lavern Stanton of Georgia and Michelle Stanton of Georgia; brothers Robert Stanton and his wife Brenda of NY, Carse (Mookie) Stanton of Bethlehem, Wilfred (Plum) Stanton of Bethlehem and Anthony (Tony) Stanton of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his siblings Frank Stanton, Coletta Stanton, Glenn Walker, and Marvin Walker.
Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday August 21, 2018 at St. Paul's Baptist Church, 925 E. Goepp Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Michael's arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantlemifuneralhome.com
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
