Mary H. Sefcik

Mary H. Sefcik, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Saucon Valley Manor.  She was the daughter of the late Kalman and Anna (Fetko) Fabian. Mary was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, class of 1946, she was known as "Popshot Mary" because of her Varsity basketball accomplishments. Mary worked for Western Electric which later became AT&T, until retiring in 1993. Mary was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church, Fountain Hill where she sang in the choir. She was a member of The Women's Guild, Golden Hillers, National Sokols, Telephone Pioneers, and Ladies PA Slovak Catholic Union.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Susan M. Sell and husband John; and Sisters, Anna Sopko and husband Robert and Helen Fabian. Mary was predeceased by her Son, Stephen Sefcik; and Brother, Joseph Fabian.
SERVICES: A mass of christian burial will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10 A.M. in St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill where Family will receive friends and relatives from 9A.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. Mary's arrangements are entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015.
