Mary JoAnn Hill

Mary JoAnn Hill, 85, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, March 17, 2023. Born on October 28, 1937she was the daughter of the late James and Juanita Hill.

Mary Jo was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. She worked in the Office of Research at Lehigh University for many years. After retirement she worked in the Martindale Center for Private Enterprise at Lehigh for several years.

Mary Jo was a member of Central Moravian Church, where she was active on the History and Care for Creation Committees, was treasurer of the Busy Workers Society and coordinated the flowers in the Sanctuary. She was a frequent and generous supporter of many different causes, especially of the preforming arts. She traveled extensively, and loved going to the theater, the opera and the ballet.

SURVIVORS: Mary Jo will be lovingly remembered by her cousins, Sandy Formosa, Nancy Cardemone, and many beloved friends. 

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Old Chapel of Central Moravian Church. Parking is in the Christian Education Building lot or the lot behind the church office, which can be accessed via the driveway beside the Widow's House. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
