Marta Palacios Obituary

Marta I. Palacios, 82, of Linden, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown. She was the wife of Ismael Palacios, with whom she shared over 64 years of loving marriage.

Born in Sagua La Grande, Cuba, Marta was the daughter of the late Florentino and Amparo (Flores) Menendez. She loved being with her family, and also enjoyed gardening, sewing, working on puzzles, and cooking wonderful meals for her family and friends.

Survivors: Husband Ismael; daughter Martha Prieto and her husband Antonio of Bethlehem Township; sisters Caridad Perez and Laudelina Duran; brothers Roberto and Jose Menendez; grandchildren Dennis and Carla Prieto. Marta was predeceased by her brother, Florentino Menendez.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 22, in the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St, Bethlehem, 18018, where friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
