Marie B. Fatzinger

Marie (Bartholomew) Fatzinger, 97, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Henry U. and Elsie (Ruhe) Bartholomew. Marie was a 1941 graduate of Allen High School, Allentown. She worked in production for former Western Electric and Lucent until she retired in 1986 after 26 years. Marie was an active member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton, Cathedral of Saint Catharine of Siena Golden Age Club, Allentown and Saints Simon & Jude Seniors, Bethlehem.  

Survivors: Marie will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Margaret “Peggy” Snyder of Pottsville, formerly Bethlehem; nephews, Mark D. Snyder and wife Lori of Pottsville, and Henry J. Bartholomew Jr. and wife Marilyn of Bethlehem; niece, Susan A. Bartholomew of Nazareth. Marie was predeceased by her son, James R. Fatzinger; brother, Henry J. Bartholomew Sr.; sister, Barbara A. Kershner.

Services: A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem PA where relatives and friends can call from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Due to current restrictions, we ask you to follow social distancing protocols and a facial covering must be worn.
