Marie (Perrett) Ballek

Marie (Perrett) Ballek, 99, of Fountain Hill, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Philamena (Donatelli) Perrett. Marie was the widow of Steven Ballek with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. She was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church.  

Survivors: Marie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marie Harell and husband James; son, Stephen Ballek and wife Helen Ann; son-in-law, Thomas Horwath; sister, Pauline Fenol; brother, Leonard Perrett, Jr.; grandchildren, Karen Shoemaker and husband Bruce, Donna Young and husband Kevan, Christopher Krem and wife Joan, Stephen Ballek, Jr. and wife Shawn, Beth Ann McFadden and husband Corey, Ryan Shoemaker, Heather Shoemaker, Alexandria Young, Rachel Young, Gabriel Krem, Michael Krem, Ronald Kneule and wife Kayla, Anthony Kneule and wife Stacey, Matthew Horwath, Samuel Horwath and Stephanie Horwath; great grandchildren, Ryan Ballek and wife Olivia, Victoria Ortiz and husband Jordan and Jacob Ballek; great great grandchildren, Dawson Kneule, Broc Shoemaker, Blake Shoemaker, Jordan Ortiz, Landon Ortiz and Emma Ballek. In addition to her husband Steven, Marie is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Horwath and granddaughter, Danielle Kneule. 

Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway Fountain Hill has been entrusted with arrangements. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
