Margaret B. (Bartholomew) Snyder

Margaret B. Snyder, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 in the care of Providence Place, Pottsville. She was the widow of Donald W. Snyder. Born on August 15, 1930 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Henry U. and Elsie F.C. (Ruhe) Bartholomew.

Margaret was a 1948 graduate of Allentown High School and a graduate of Allentown Business School. She worked in the offices of Western Electric and for Vogt’s Jewelers until she retired. Margaret was an active member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.  

Survivors:  Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her son, Mark D. Snyder and wife Lori of Pottsville; grandchildren, Lindsey A. Snyder of Grand Junction, CO and Aaron W. Snyder of Denver, CO; niece, Susan A. Bartholomew and nephew, Henry J. Bartholomew Jr. She was predeceased by her brother, Henry J. Bartholomew and sisters, Marie B. Fatzinger, and Barbara A. Kershner.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday June 8, 2023 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St. Bethlehem PA where the family will receive friends and relatives from 12:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown.  A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmfuneralhome.com.
