Louise H. Harmon

Louise H. Harmon, 103, of Lake Placid, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 in her son’s home in Bethlehem, PA surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Stanley J. Harmon. Born in Gainesville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Charlotte (Voorhees) Hickey. Louise attended Geneseo State College and Buffalo State College. She was an elementary school teacher and she also worked for Harmon Funeral Home and Harmon Department Store in Castile, NY. Louise was a matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing bridge and golf but most of all she loved a dry manhattan.  

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her son Jim Harmon and wife Winnie of Bethlehem; daughter Carol Roswell and husband Peter of Angola, NY; grandchildren Sara Harmon (Philip Hunter), Christopher Roswell (Mary), Daniel Roswell (Gwendolyn) and Jessica Clark (Todd); great grandchildren Peyton, Brennan Lauria and Niall Roswell. Louise was preceded in death by her siblings Chadbourne, Roy and Elizabeth. 

Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Louise’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
