Linda J. (Schatz) Riga

Linda J. (Schatz) Riga, 64, of Emmaus, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth E. (Riley) Schatz. Linda attended Liberty High School. She worked for Valley Farm Market, Allentown for over 10 years. She was an avid New York Yankees fan. Linda enjoyed diamond art painting, country music and all things raccoons. Above all, Linda cherished being a mother and filling her home with warmth and kindness for her family. She was a loving mom and grammy and will forever be remembered by her family and loved ones. 

Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Jessica Riga and her fiancé Larry Fricker, Jr. of Emmaus, Stephanie Berry and her husband William, Jr. of Hanover Township and Emily Barron of Whitehall; sons Christopher Riga of Allentown and Colt Barron of Norristown; sisters Scherelene Schatz of Allentown and Tina Martucci of Bethlehem; loving granddaughters Zariah Berry and Naya Adams; beloved cat Ceelo and her loving nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Schatz. 

Services: A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 11 A.M. until time of the service.
