Kathy Stout Obituary

 

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kathy Louise Stout, 68, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched. She passed on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at LVHN-Cedar Crest. She was born on March 13, 1953, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She was the daughter of Ronald J. Long and Sara L. Long (Jumper). A graduate of Jacksonville High School, she enjoyed her work at Wegmans for almost twenty years.

 

She is survived by her parents Ron and Sara, her husband of 30 years, William Stout Jr, daughter, Meagan Saxe (Kevin), stepchildren, Letticia Mulford (John), Kimberlee Achey, Suelynn Higgins (James), Dianna Hummer (Bryan), William Stout (Kimberly), Anthony Stout, her 19 grandchildren, as well as her beloved chihuahua, Max. Sister, Bonnie Adams (Thomas), brothers, Ronald Long, Duane Long (Darlene). She was predeceased by a daughter, Crystal D. Ashenfelder (2014).

 

Despite her large family she always made time for everyone. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, racing, musicals, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Kathy was above all, passionate and proud of her grandchildren. Kathy will be forever remembered for her warm smile, her gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace, and her unconditional love. The family would like to thank Dr. William J. Liaw and Dr. C. Michael O’Conner, we are grateful for all efforts and the care you have provided to her for the better part of thirty years.

 

SERVICES: A visitation will take place from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 7, 2021 at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.

 

CONTRIBUTIONS: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Kathy’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
