Kathryn Fair Obituary

Kathryn A. Fair, 96, of Fountain Hill crossed over to be with her beloved husband Oliver V. Fair and her dear parents Alexander and Catherine. Kathryn and Ollie  were married 52 years prior to his death in 1999.  Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine (Buecheler) Reitmeir.  After graduation from Bethlehem Catholic High School in 1944, Kathryn was a secretary at Bethlehem Steel for 3 years.  When her children were older, Kathryn rejoined the workforce at Lehigh University where she served as the assistant to the Financial Aid Director for 20 years before retiring in 1985.  She loved good music, playing cards and crossword puzzles.  She enjoyed going to Ocean City, MD on her birthday and trips with Ollie around the country.  Kathryn especially loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

Survivors: Children, David R. Fair and his wife Jeanne of Center Valley, Kathleen Peifer of Sequim, WA, Gary O. Fair and his wife Becky of Wilmington, DE, Gregory P. Fair and his wife Deborah of Fountain Hill; brother, Paul Reitmeir of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Julie wife of Anthony Milia, Kiersten Schiliro, Megan Fair, Jennifer wife of David Christopher, Adam Fair and his wife Angela, Christopher Fair and his wife Katy Fina, Matthew Fair and his partner Jen Corsilli; great grandchildren, Ava Milia, Olivia Milia, Julien Schiliro, Derek Schiliro, Rory Schiliro, Ryan Christopher, Claire Christopher, Blake Fair, Penn Fair.  She was predeceased by siblings, Robert Reitmeir and Lucille McGinnis and great granddaughter, Caitlin Christopher.  

Service: Memorial Service 11:00AM to 3:00PM Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Green Pond Country Club, 3604 Farmersville Rd., Bethlehem, PA.  Private Interment at Nisky Hill Cemetery.  Please record a memory at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
