Karen L. (Johnson) Cassiano

Karen L. Cassiano, 78, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2021 while in the care of Holy Family Manor. She was the devoted wife of Damiano Cassiano with whom she shared over 55 years of loving marriage. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude Vera Johnson. Karen graduated high school at the age of 16. She loved pets and always aspired to be a veterinarian. Karen enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband Damiano; sons Damon Cassiano of Long Beach, LI, Michael Cassiano and wife Jennifer of Bethlehem and Joseph Cassiano of Long Beach, LI and her loving granddaughter Arianna Cassiano. 

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 3 P.M. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 1 P.M. until time of the service. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Nassau Knolls Cemetery, 500 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050. Due to current restrictions, we ask you to follow social distancing protocols and a facial covering must be worn.  A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
