Joyce (Smith) Jefferson

Joyce (Smith) Jefferson, 76, of Bethlehem, passed away in her home on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Born in Hellertown, she was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Mease) Smith. Joyce was the beloved wife of Mark Jefferson with whom she shared 29 years of marriage. Joyce worked for many years helping those with disabilities at Community Services, Inc. 

Survivors: In addition to her husband, Mark, Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Michele Rumfield; sister, Jean Rowe and her husband Robert; brother, Raymond Smith and his wife Ruth and grandchildren, Pamela Cerami, Phillip Rumfield, Jr., Ryan Rumfield, Allison Rumfield, Dylan Rumfield and Jessee Anderson. Joyce is preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Dodson. 

Services: A funeral service will take place at 1:00P.M. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem where the family will receive friends and relatives from 12 Noon until the time of service.  Interment will follow at Hellertown Union Cemetery.
