John E. Czipoth, 85, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Thursday December 6, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Dawn M. (Moyer) Wilson Czipoth with whom he shared over 40 years of marriage. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Miklos and Catherine (Zackos) Czipoth. John was employed by the Bethlehem Steel as a crane operator in the beam yard for over 38 years until retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Local 2599 U.S. Steelworkers Union, where he was a past officer and he also held various offices in the union and Tri-Local Treasurer for 2600 and 2599. John enjoyed camping, fishing and golfing and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Dawn, sons, John Czipoth, Jr. of Bethlehem, Damon Czipoth and Bethlehem, daughter, Tammy Czipoth of Hellertown; step sons, Roger Kemp, who was also his caretaker of Bethlehem and Dean Wilson and his wife Debbie of Nazareth and their children, Brock, Cade and Blaine Wilson; granddaughter, Catherine Czipoth and her husband Edwin Rodriguez, and his loving great-grandchildren Collin, Rachel, Audrieana and Leo and his loving dog Max. He was predeceased by his 14 siblings.
