Joel Matosek

Joel Matosek, 64, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the loving husband of Deborah (Bonaskiewich) Matosek, with whom he shared over 32 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lucille (DeFiore) Matosek. Joel worked as an Air Duct Cleaner for Clean Air Services for most of his life. He was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Hellertown. Joel loved riding his Motorcycle and sailing his sailboats. Anything with a motor, Joel was interested in. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend to all. 

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Deborah, he will be remembered by his sisters Yvonne "Tootie" Kratzer of Northampton and Juanita DeLong of Fountain Hill and her children Gina DeLong of Shoemakersville and Mark DeLong of Bethlehem  as well as many loving nieces and nephews; best friend Jerry Millington and his wife Patti of Bath; and his loving birds Jonny and Obi. He was preceded in death by his sister Lola O’Donnell. 

Services: A Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 12 Noon until time of the service.
