Joanne McNamara

Joanne McNamara, 78, of Easton, formerly of New Jersey died Monday, June 20, 2022 in St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem.  She was the beloved wife of Terrence J. McNamara with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage on September 18, 2021.  Born in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Eurelia (Bennett) DeStasio.  A 1961 graduate of New Dorp High School, Joanne continued her education at Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, NJ where she received her Associate in Arts Degree in 1990.  A financial administrative assistant at M & T Chemical Company, Branchburg, NJ, for 20 years, she also was an office manager for a health care employment agency in Edison, NJ.  Joanne retired from Simpson Glen, a retirement community in the Poconos, where she worked as a sales representative in 2001.  She enjoyed the beach and traveling to Las Vegas.  She loved Elvis Presley and Frankie Avalon music, but most of all she loved the time she spent with her grandchildren.  

Survivors: Husband, Terrence J. McNamara; daughter, Debra Miceli of Easton; son, Brian McNamara and his wife Teresa of Middletown, NJ; son-in-law, Jack Miceli of Nazareth; grandchildren, Christopher Miceli, Kyle Miceli and Jordan McNamara.

Service: Memorial Service 11:00AM Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem.  Family and friends may call 9 to 11:00AM Saturday, June 25, 2022 in the funeral home.
