James Reph Obituary

James C. “Jim” “Paps” Reph, 71, of Bath died unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  He was the husband of Elaine I. (Remaly) Reph with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage on September 7, 2021.  Born in Allentown, Jim was the son of Clinton Reph of FL and Fern (Wendling) Titus of Northampton and the stepson of Millie Reph of FL and the late Larry Titus.  A 1968 graduate of Emmaus High School, Jim served his country faithfully in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.  He was an inspector for Air Products and continued as a consultant after retiring in 2017.  

 

Jim was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Bethlehem where he served as President of the consistory, usher, former Sunday school teacher and volunteered in the food pantry.  He enjoyed bowling and had participated in a league at Slate Bowl for many years. What Jim enjoyed most was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was so proud of them.  

 

 

Survivors: Wife; father; mother; stepmother; daughters, Corinne wife of Anthony Adams of Whitehall, Julie wife of Brian Skinner of Easton; adopted daughter, Kristy Ernst of Fountain Hill; brother, Don husband of Sue Reph of Vero Beach, FL; sisters, Linda wife of Al Iezzi of Gordonville, Donna wife of Edward Birch of Oracle, AZ; half brothers, Curt husband of Jean Reph, Guy husband of Tari Reph; half sister Nancy O’Keefe all of OH; treasured grandchildren, Aidan, Brady, Maci, Brayden, Trey, Tim.

 

 

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem,  PA 18018 where the family will recieve relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time of the service. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.

 

 

Contributions: In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in James’s memory to Trinity United Church of Christ, 81 E. North St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
