Helen Wied Obituary
Helen E. (Spisak) Wied, 74, of Salisbury Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Kenneth J. Wied with whom she shared over 52 years of loving marriage, after being together since 1962. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Geza and Helen (Tokay) Rogacs. Helen was a graduate of Fountain Hill High School. She worked as an office assistant for Aetna for 13 years until retiring. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fountain Hill. Helen enjoyed watching her sons baseball games at Fountain Hill Little League and was active in the Auxiliary. She was also a member of the former Bethlehem Forest Rangerettes.
Survivors: In addition to her loving husband Ken, she will be remembered by her sons Kenneth Wied and his wife Kristy of Bethlehem and Kevin Wied and his wife Marianne of Whitehall; siblings Joseph Spisak and his wife Marie of Bethlehem, Elizabeth Holland and her husband Bruce of Bethlehem, Geza Rogacs and his wife Val of England and her 4 grandchildren, Brady,Tyler, Erika and Kaitlynn Wied. She was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Hassay.
Services: Helen's burial services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Her arrangements are entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home, Fountain Hill, A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
