Hector Torres Obituary

An angel's journey began on April 28th ,1972 in Ponce, Puerto Rico La Isla de El Encanto by the name of Hector L. Torres. Son of Hector L. Torres-Ruberte and Alejandrina Rosa.

Hector died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday July 29th 2020. He was a loving and devoted husband to Sheyla and an irreplaceable father to Heyshla and Joshua.

Hector was an exceptional employee at Reeb Millwork for many years which was a job he truly enjoyed as he liked to create things with wood. He had an impact on the world by instilling a work ethic and personality in his children that will be his legacy.

Hector ‘s childhood was full of wonderful memories in which he loved to tell stories. He was kind, giving and serviced others without asking anything in return.  He enjoyed watching sports such as basketball and wrestling and was an avid Boston Celtics fan. He enjoyed traveling to his second favorite place Florida taking trips to the beach and watching the sunset. He was always connected to his roots especially when he listened to Old School Salsa; amongst the many things that Hector enjoyed was cleaning and detailing cars. He always said “A car isn’t really cleaned unless you use Amor All”.  Above all he always put his family first spending as much time with them as possible.

Hector had a stance and presence that would make you feel secure; he will always be remember for his beautiful and contagious smile that would light up even the darkest room.
