Gomer S. Howard, Jr. “Skip”, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 14, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Gomer S. Howard, Sr. and Margaret M. (Kepfer) Howard. Skip was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1959. He worked as a Custodian for the Bethlehem Area School District for 27 years. Skip also worked for SureFit Products and Orr’s Department Store. He was a member of Lehigh Valley Keystone Railroad Club and Calvary Baptist Church, Bethlehem where he volunteered as a greeter. Skip was an avid train collector for many years as well as a Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. He was a loving and kind person and enjoyed gardening and taking walks.
Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Joyce Marko of Bethlehem and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services: Memorial Services will be held private and at the convenience of the family. Skip’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
