Gertrudis ‘Plito’ Espinosa, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 9, 2021 while in the care of Old Orchard Nursing Home. He was the devoted husband of Iliana (Mendez) Espinosa with whom he spent many loving years of marriage. Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Heraclio and Isabella (Burgos) Espinosa. Plito enjoyed playing dominoes, working as a mechanic and spending time with his loving wife and family.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Iliana, he will be remembered by his children Edgardo Espinosa and his wife Norma, Reynaldo Espinosa and his late wife Blanca, Griselle Espinosa and her husband Peter, Elaine Hale and her husband Jeff, Carmen Greenwalt and her husband Jeff, Johnny Espinosa and his wife Egle and Noel Espinosa and his wife Jessica; siblings Carmen, Maximino, Francisco, Margarita, Israel, Crecencia and Antoinette as well as many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded ind death by his loving son Enrique Espinosa.
Services: A Funeral Service will take place at 11 A.M. on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until time if the service.
