Ferdinand “Fred” Brenner, 89, of Bethlehem passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born in Bakonybél, Hungary, he was the son of the late Frank and Julia (Szabo) Brenner. Fred was the beloved husband of the late Agnes “Aggie” (Kozauer) Brenner with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Fred attained his master’s degree at Lehigh University and went on to become an Electrical Engineer at PPL Utilities. He was a founding member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Survivors: Fred will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Michael Brenner and wife Christine and Joseph Brenner and wife Jo Ann; daughter, Susanne Brenner and husband Li-Yeng Sung and grandchildren, Katelyn, Amanda, JJ and Alexis.
Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem has been entrusted with arrangements. A memorial tribute may be placed at www.Cantelmifuneralhome.com.
