Eric H. Budd

Eric Hunter Budd, 49, of Lower Saucon Twp., died Monday, January 18, 2021, at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Jennifer (Hoagland) Budd for 26 years. Born on January 1, 1972 in Newton, NJ, Eric was the son of Chester E. Budd Jr., and the late Isabel M. (Holben) Budd. Eric graduated from Bangor Area High School in 1989, and volunteered as an E.M.T. with Mt. Bethel Fire and Ambulance Co. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University, where he met his wife and volunteered with the State College Ambulance. Eric worked as a computer programmer for many years for Penn Treaty, Santander Bank, ADP Computer, Olympus of the Americans and others. He was a member of Maker Space Allentown. Eric had many joys in life including martial arts, U.S. P.S.A. match organizer with Guthsville Rod and Gun Club, working on computers, Sci-Fi, photography and grilling. 

Survivors: Eric will be lovingly missed by his wife Jennifer; daughter, Erica R. Budd; father, Chester Budd, Jr.; step mother, Luanne Budd; sister, Leslie Marshall; brother-in-law, Frank Marshall; niece, Hailey Marshall; nephew, Evan Marshall; Uncle, Gerald Holben.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem where friends may call from 5:00 PM until time of service. Services will also be live streamed on Eric’s obituary page at cantelmifunealhom.com. Due to current restrictions, we ask you to follow social distancing protocols and a facial covering must be worn.
