Eloise Boyle Obituary

 

Eloise Anne Boyle “Grand “B”, 93, died on March 20, 2021. She was the daughter of Emil and Hertha Hartmann and born in Ilion, NY on December 29, 1927 and resided there until 1987. Since then, she resided in Elkton, MD. 

 

Eloise worked for Remington as an Executive Assistant for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Mohawk Valley Hospital Guild, Union Hospital Junior Board, Remington Employees Club, Mohawk Youth Commissions and St. Joseph’s Rosary Society. She had a love for animals, flowers and about spending time with her family. 

 

She was predeceased by first husband, Robert E. Burdick, (22years) on March 28, 1969, and second husband, Harvey K. Boyle (20 years), on December 9, 2007; son Timothy A. Burdick on October 13, 2014. 

 

She was survived by daughters, Kathleen Haire (Robert), Bethlehem, PA; Bonnie Hatlee (Dan), Spencer, MA; Carolyn Burdick, Sterling, MA; and son Robert Burdick, Donna, TX; stepsons, Michael Boyle (Sally), Cypress, TX, Matthew Boyle (Wendy) and Allen Boyle (Sheila) Newark, DE; daughter-in-law, Carol Ann Burdick, Ilion, NY; 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; many special cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Norma Alger and brother, Leo Hartmann.

 

 

Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
