Elmer G. Werkheiser, Jr.

Elmer G. Werkheiser, Jr., 99, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Lifequest Nursing Home, Quakertown. He was the loving husband of the late Anna (Schulte) Werkheiser. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Elmer G. Sr. and Bertha (Fisher) Werkheiser.  Elmer was a devoted farmer for all of his life. He also was a bus driver and grounds keeper for many years at Moravian Academy, Bethlehem Township. Elmer always kept Psalm 121 close to his heart. 

Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Mary Crockett and husband Robert of Easton; sons Rick Werkheiser and his wife Barbara of Bethlehem and Fred Werkheiser and his wife Debra of Bethlehem; 5 loving grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Elmer was preceded in death by his sisters Mae Werkheiser and Gladys Werner. 

Services: A Graveside Service will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Hope Cemetery, Route 191, Bethlehem, PA. Elmer’s arrangement have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
