Eleanor Roth Obituary
Eleanor (Slavicz) Roth, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, July 19, 2018. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Roth, who died in 2010.
Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Sebjanics) Slavicz. She worked for a number of area companies, including Bethlehem Steel Corp, General Electric and Western Electric. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, going to the casinos, and playing Bingo. But most of all, she loved raising her family. Eleanor was a member of St. John's Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors: sons Robert M. Roth of Bethlehem, Jefferey R. Roth and his wife Wendy of Hereford, and Michael A. Roth and his wife Melissa of Salisbury Township; grandchildren Amanda, Robby, Leanne, Stephanie, Brittany, Hunter and Samantha; great-granddaughters Zoey, Phoebe and Sophie. Eleanor was predeceased by her sisters Irene Birkel and Sally Ortwein.
Services: Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 24, at St. John's Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church, 617 E. 4th St., Bethlehem, PA 18015, where friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of services. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com
