Edith R. Trythall

Edith Ruth Trythall 92, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. Born in Fountain Hill, Edith was the fifth of nine children to George and Bella (Roberts) Overdorf. Edith was the wife of the late William Trythall Sr., with whom she shared over 58 years of marriage until his death in 2007. Edith was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Bethlehem, where she was active in many church fellowship programs. Edith's life was a life of service to her family, church, and friends.

Survivors: Edith is preceded in death by her husband William, daughter, Sue Ellen, brother George Overdorf, and sisters Margaret Gipson, Grace Hall, and Bella Hoyt. Family left to miss her warm smile, generous spirit, and delicious deserts include her sons William Jr. of Rio Rancho, N.M., Robert of Curwensville, Pa., Thomas of Bethlehem, Peter of Liberty Hill, Texas, sisters Jean Hall and Esther Frisoli of Bethlehem, PA, brother David Overdorf of Nazareth, PA, and brother Donald Overdorf of Nashville, TN as well as numerous beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at First Baptist Church, 3235 Linden St., Bethlehem, 18017. Arrangements entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home in Bethlehem, PA. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
