Donald J. McLaughlin

Donald J. McLaughlin, 88, of Fountain Hill, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021.  He was the widower of Rose Marie J. (Tamandl) McLaughlin who passed last year after 51 years of loving marriage. Born on October 25, 1932 in Bethlehem, Donald was a son of the late Thomas J. and Henrietta (Spreckler) McLaughlin. 

Donald worked as a store supervisor for the Pennsylvania State Store for over 30 years before retiring. Donald was a member of the Fountain Hill Hose Company, American Legion and St. Ursula’s Catholic Church. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed fishing and reading. 

Survivors:  Donald will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jim McLaughlin and Megan McLaughlin and grandchildren, Michael Miller and Aaron Wittman. He was predeceased by siblings Thomas E. McLaughlin and Joan McLaughlin. 

Services: A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Fountain Hill Cemetery, anyone that would like to follow us to the cemetery may meet at 10:30 AM at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA.
