Deneen P. (Stromberg) Violett

Deneen P. (Stromberg) Violett, 79, of Bethlehem, PA and formerly of Secaucus, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2023 surrounded by her adoring family. She was the wife of Joseph Violett, with whom she shared over 28 years of loving marriage. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Rose Elaine (Baker) Stromberg. Deneen was a graduate of Stillwater High School in Stillwater, MN. She was a Bank Manager for Statewide Savings, Secaucus, NJ and a cashier for Grand Union, Milford, PA. Deneen loved butterflies, going for walks and flowers. She enjoyed traveling and spoiling her grandkids. 

Survivors: In addition to her devoted husband Joseph, she will be remembered by her sons David Violett and his husband David of Bethlehem, Thomas Violett and his wife Adrianne of Farmingdale, NJ, Daniel Violett and his wife Jirehly of Drums, PA, Joseph Violett and his wife Irene of Bethlehem, Jeffrey Violett and his wife Patricia of Nazareth, PA and Michael Violett and his wife Olga of Morris Plains, NJ; siblings Kathryn (Stromberg) Anderson and her husband David of Siren, WI and Lance “Simant” Stromberg and his wife Penny of Maiden Rock, WI; grandchildren Michael, Steven, Sarah, Paul, Rachael, Samuel, Inga and Sven and her great grandson Cayden. Deneen was pre-deceased by her first husband Edward Violett.

Services: A Celebration of Life Service will be held on May 20, 2023 with a time and location to be provided at a later date. Deneen’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
