David Roper Obituary

David D. Roper, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. (Wright) Roper they would have celebrated 56 years of marriage in August. Born in Bethlehem, on February 1, 1938 he was the son of the late Donald and Grace (Williams) Roper. David was an English teacher for East Penn School District for many years before retiring.

Survivors: David will be dearly missed by wife Barbara; brother-in-law, Lloyd Wright; niece, Lisa King.

SERVICES: Graveside Services will be private and at the convenience of the family due to the current public health concerns. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmfiuneralhome.com.
